Tall Weatherproof Cover for Power Chairs

If you depend on your power chair for your daily mobility, you may need to protect it from the elements. These covers are perfectly sized to fit most standard power chairs with an extended headrest assembly. With 44" of length, 18" across, and a full 48" high, your chair is well protected from the elements. Please note that this Tall Cover is made to be fit on power chairs that use an extended headrest assembly, and it is 10" higher than our 38" high Medium Weatherproof Cover. Before ordering please measure the distance between the floor and the top of your seat back or headrest to ensure receiving the correct cover. Our Standard covers are made of black 400-denier nylon with urethane backing, and although relatively lightweight, they are durable and easy to get on and off your chair. Just cover your power chair and then pull the elastic down under the deck. Then pull the cord lock so that it is tight around the bottom. This is no wimpy or feckless tarp that will rip and blow away in the first breeze! Our covers also feature a reflective strip that really catches the light.

The Heavy Duty covers are made of strong 600x300 polyester with a PVC rubber backing, and the term "heavy duty" means just that. Stout and durable, yet still easy to get on and off your power chair. These covers are very superior to the lightweight blue tarps that always get ripped and blown away in the wind.

Note: If you use these covers while hauling your power chair on a vehicle rack or in the back bed of an open truck, then you will need to lash it down securely. A couple of bungee cords might do the trick, but tie-down straps are even better. The bottom edge has a series of webbing loops or reinforced grommets for this. What you do not want is for the cover to go blowing around in the wind as this will cause a lot of unnecessary wear & tear on the fabric. Think of this power chair cover as an investment in your power chair's service life.
