Description

This is the genuine Drive Medical front wheel assembly (part number SC31017) for the standard 4-wheel Spitfire Scout mobility scooter. Each assembly has a black rim fitted with an 8" x 2" (200x50) heavy-tread, flat-free tire, the same size as the original front wheels.

Choose your quantity: order a single wheel to replace one front wheel, or the set of 2 to replace both at once. Replacing both at the same time keeps tread wear even on each side, so the scooter tracks straight and rides evenly.

Because the tire is solid, there is no air pressure to check and nothing to go flat. If a front tire is worn smooth, cracked or chunked, or the wheel wobbles, it is time for a replacement.

Note: This wheel is for the standard Spitfire Scout 4-wheel (SFSCOUT4) only. It does not fit the Spitfire Scout 3-wheel or the Spitfire Scout DLX.

My only issue with this product is that it doesn't state in the product description whether you are getting 1 wheel or 2. Since the price was $84.00 and the description was for a Front Wheel Assembly, I assumed it was for both wheels. Sadly it was only for 1 wheel so I had to order another. Pretty high price for one front wheel of a scooter. On all other points, I love Monster Scooter Parts.
