Description

This 12 volt U1 battery replaces the original batteries in the Jazzy, Pride and Quantum J6 power chair and meets or exceeds Pride Mobility's specifications for part BATLIQ1017. The chair uses two batteries for its 24 volt system, so buy them singly or as a pair.

Choose either battery type:

  • AGM (UB12350, 35 Ah): Higher capacity and lower cost. Lasts longest when you recharge before the batteries drop below 50%.
  • Gel (D5870, 32 Ah): Longer life when the batteries are regularly run down deep between charges. Use a gel-optimized charger, and expect a break-in of about 15 to 20 charge cycles before they reach full capacity.

Both types are sealed, spill-proof, maintenance-free and safe for air travel, and they can be installed upright or on their side. All batteries are backed by a one-year warranty.

The U1 name refers only to a common physical size, so it applies to both AGM and gel batteries. It is the most common battery size for power chairs and mobility scooters.

Pride Mobility part number: BATLIQ1017
Universal Power Group part numbers: UB12350 (AGM), D5870 (Gel)

The batteries came right on time! My husband's power chair batteries were dying and wouldn't hold a charge! So glad we can go places now without fear of the batteries dying on him! Thank you so much!
