BATLIQ1017 - 12 Volt U1 Battery for the Jazzy Select

This 12 volt U1 battery replaces the original batteries in the Jazzy Select power chair and meets or exceeds the original battery specifications. The chair uses two 12 volt batteries for its 24 volt system, so buy them singly or as a pair.

Choose either battery type:

• AGM (UB12350, 35 Ah): Higher capacity and lower cost. Lasts longest when you recharge before the batteries drop below 50%.
• Gel (D5870, 32 Ah): Longer life when the batteries are regularly run down deep between charges. Use a gel-compatible charger, and expect a break-in of about 15 to 20 charge cycles (two to three weeks of nightly charging) before they reach full capacity.

Both types are sealed, spill-proof, maintenance-free and safe for airline travel, and they can be installed upright or on their side. U1 refers only to a standard physical size, the most common for power chairs and scooters. All batteries are backed by a one-year warranty.
