The replacement 1-1/8" tip for Drive Medical canes, commodes, and walkers is made to cushion the legs of mobility aids with 1-1/8" tubular legs. Portable walkers and commodes without tips are like a car without tires.
Cane tips provide three functions; they grip the surface for increased safety and stability, they absorb the repeated shock to the user's hand when mobile, and they help protect the mobility aid itself from wear and abrasion.
