GM1400-TR - Richmat 1400 Transformer for Golden Comforter, Signature, Traditional & Value Lift Chairs

This is Golden Technologies OEM part GM1400-TR, the Richmat 1400 transformer used on Golden single-motor lift chairs with the Smart Tek system. It plugs into a standard 115-120V wall outlet and converts household AC power into the low-voltage DC power that runs the chair's lift motor. It works with the GM1400-LM Richmat 1400 lift motor.

The transformer has a built-in battery backup. With two 9-volt alkaline batteries installed (not included), it can return the chair from a reclined position to seated during a power outage. Golden recommends replacing the batteries after each use and once a year. An LED on the transformer shows when it has power.

It fits Golden Comforter (PR501), Signature, Traditional and Value series single-motor lift chairs, including the Cambridge, Williamsburg, Pioneer, Winston, Regal, Royal, Transfer Lift, Imperial, Capri and Monarch. On the Comforter Wide, it fits the single-motor small wide size (PR501-S23); the dual-motor wide sizes (M26, L26, T28) use a different power supply. The wall cord is Golden part GM1501-APUS-36.

Golden's newer OKIN transformer, GM2102-TR-PK, also fits these chairs. Check the part number on your chair's current transformer before ordering.
