GM1450-LM - Richmat HJA58 Lift Motor for Golden MaxiComfort, Signature & UltraComfort Lift Chairs

What this motor does
This is the lift motor, the main actuator that raises the chair to help you stand and lowers it back down. It is not the GM1450-RM recline (back) motor.

The GM1450-LM is a genuine Richmat linear actuator (Richmat HJA58) used in Golden Technologies and UltraComfort power lift chairs. Golden's service manuals list it as "Chair Lift Motor 1450 Original ending 355," and it is often called the GM1450-LM-ORG. It replaces the older GM1500-LM (Okin DeltaDrive 72276) and every earlier revision of the GM1450-LM.

Before you order

• Several Richmat motors carry "Item No.: HJA58" on the label. Check the specifications below against your old motor. If you are replacing a GM1500-LM or any version of the GM1450-LM, this motor will work.
• Lift chair motors look very similar, so match the part number, connector color and pin count before ordering.
• Older GM1450-LM labels show 29 V input; newer ones show 24 V rated voltage. It is the same motor: UL rules now require the label to show voltage under load (24 V) rather than idle voltage (29 V). It works with your existing 29 V power supply.
• Unplug the chair transformer before you pull clevis pins.

• Recline motor: 2-pin black female connector with clamp, labeled "Back Motor" (connects to the recline motor on two-motor chairs)
• Accessory: 2-pin black female connector with clamp, labeled "Accessory" (found on the newest revision only; leave it unplugged if your chair doesn't use it)
