    The pedal assist sensor for Lectric electric bicycles is every bit as important to your Lectric electric bike as the battery or controller. A pedal assist sensor works by monitoring each revolution of the pedal. It signals the hub motor to give your motor additional rotation based on your chosen level of assistance. Pedal assist units such as this one consist basically of a doughnut-shaped sensor and a wire harness.

    If the pedal assist on your Lectrice electric bicycle is no longer functioning due to wear or corrosion, then replace it as soon as possible.
