Description
Our brake caliper for Jetson® electric bicycles works with the rear wheel's disc to ensure a smooth stop. Available with a black enamel finish, this replacement brake caliper is easy to install next to the rear wheel. There is a 2-7/8" distance between the two oval mounting holes The brake disc is sold separately.
Caliper/disc brakes are far more efficient than the coaster brakes or the drum & band brakes found on many smaller electric bikes and scooters. In addition, caliper brakes are less prone to overheating or damage during sudden stops.
