MBC-GLA80843 / 1165094 - Keypad Overlay for the 4 Key Dynamic Shark DK-REMD01 and DK-REMD02 (MK5 SPJ+) Joystick

This replacement keypad fits the 4-key Dynamic Shark DK-REMD01 joystick remote. It is sometimes called a joystick overlay. It is also used on the Invacare MK5 SPJ+ (DK-REMD02) joystick found on the Invacare Pronto series and several other Invacare power chairs, and on many other brands; see the compatible models below.

The peel-and-stick keypad has easy-to-read symbols. To install it:

• Turn the chair off, pull back the gray collar and disconnect the joystick cable.
• Peel off the old keypad and check the contacts, face plate and housing for corrosion or damage.
• Remove all old adhesive with an alcohol prep pad, including around the rim and in the light and contact cutouts. Let it dry for ten minutes and repeat if any residue remains.
• Remove the backing, align the bottom edge of the keypad with the bottom of the face plate (it cannot be repositioned), and press it on from the bottom up with no air pockets or ripples.
• Reconnect the cable and test the joystick. If it still does not work properly, the joystick itself may be faulty.
