X-Large Weatherproof Cover for Power Chairs

If you depend on your power chair for your daily mobility, you may need to protect it from the elements. These covers are perfectly sized to fit most larger power chairs with an extended headrest assembly. With 44" of length, 23" across, and a full 48" high, your chair is well protected from the elements. Please note that this X-Large Cover is made to be fit on power chairs that use an extended headrest assembly, and it is 10" higher than our 38" high Large Weatherproof Cover. Before ordering please measure the distance between the floor and the top of your seat back or headrest to ensure receiving the correct cover. These Standard covers are made of black 400-denier nylon with urethane backing, and although relatively lightweight, they are durable and easy to get on and off your chair. Just cover your power chair and then pull the elastic down under the deck. Then pull the cord lock so that it is tight around the bottom. This is no wimpy or feckless tarp that will rip and blow away in the first breeze! Our covers also feature a reflective strip that really catches the light.

Weatherproof vs Waterproof? - Weatherproof means it is resistant to harsh weather conditions such as UV rays from sun, precipitation, and wind. Waterproof means it is impervious to water but will break down when exposed to UV rays.

The 400-denier nylon fabric with a urethane backing, is ideal for daily protection from elements. Weatherproof means this is water resistant and not waterproof, so we recommend not allowing water to pool on cover.

Note: If you use these covers while hauling your scooter in the back bed of an open truck, then you will need to lash it down securely. A couple of bungee cords may do the trick, but tie-down straps are even better. The bottom edge has a series of 1" webbing belt loops for this. What you do not want is for the cover to go flapping and flopping around in the wind as this will cause a lot of unnecessary wear & tear on the fabric.
