Description

If the AutoDrive 3.0 control on your Golden MaxiComfort has gone unresponsive, lost its backlight, or has buttons that no longer click, this replacement covers the ZKAD-2 through ZKAD-6 range.

AutoDrive 3.0 drives the chair to pre-programmed Zero Gravity, TV and Sleep positions, and lets you set and save a position of your own. The restyled button layout is easier to read at a glance than earlier AutoDrive pendants. Buttons are backlit, dim automatically when idle, and click audibly on press. Partial and full lockout options prevent accidental changes.

Before you order, check two things. First, this fits Golden MaxiComforter (PR-505) and MaxiComfort (PR-508, PR-510 and PR-756) chairs built in 2015 or later. It will not retrofit a chair that did not originally ship with AutoDrive 3.0. Second, if your control looks like a ZKAD-6 but is marked 3700 under the scan bar and illuminates green, you need the ZK3700-HC instead — the ZKAD-6 illuminates blue.

This control uses a 5-pin connector. Installation is straightforward: unplug the old control from the port on the chair and plug the new one in. No tools required.

thank goodness I had saved my receipt from 2 years ago and knew right where to go when the control unit quit. The new one arrived and it fit and worked perfectly. That said, I really hope that it last more than two years because it is expensive as well as absolutely necessary for my physical well being.

Really appreciate the quick response to my order. Unfortunately, the package would get to my city, only to be redirected to some other state, then wander all over from city to city to get back here.
