Description
As the leader in the scooter parts business, we have made some interesting discoveries over the years. For instance; despite the differences in brands, models, series names, manufacturers, and configuration of seat posts & mounting frames, many (if not most) mobility scooter seat bases for travel mobility and mid-size scooters are in fact fully interchangeable with one another. If a broad selection of rubber tires from a multitude of tire makers will all fit the same size rim, why should seat assemblies be any different? Once removed from their metal frame and bracket assembly, the seat bases will easily transfer from one brand's model to that of another brand. It really is that simple.
We help you save money by offering these excellent replacement mobility scooter seat assemblies in two styles; our Standard, and our Deluxe models.
Our Standard 17"x17" seat assembly is quite possibly the very best value in mobility parts today. This is no shoddy or substandard seat. The rich, textured black vinyl upholstery is removable for cleaning, and the seatback has a convenient enclosed pouch for your papers. Measuring 17" wide by 14" deep, our standard seat is perfectly suited for most people. Only through our global network of mobility parts suppliers are we able to bring you this very fine seat assembly at the lowest cost you will find anywhere.
Our Wide 17"x18" seat assembly is a perfect blend of style and economy; an unrivaled bargain combining top-quality materials and construction with good looks. This excellent seat measures a full 18" wide and 17" deep; plenty big enough (and comfortable enough) for most adult users.
Both of our seat assemblies use a "universal" bottom, like the one shown in the underside photo above. This industrial standard configuration allows these seat bases to fit a variety of steel seat frame units from numerous manufacturers. If your existing seat base's underside looks like the one shown, then these seat assemblies will fit your scooter.
Our universal seats' undersides have 16 mounting holes, and will have four or more holes with threaded metal inside; all using a standard 8 mm x 1.25 thread and pitch. The additional non-threaded holes allow the user to use the seat with a wide range of manufacturers' metal seat base brackets, or to secure the seat with various sizes of bolts. If you use these non-threaded holes, the nuts must be slipped in between the seat's plastic base plate and the foam padding. This is much easier than it sounds. Please refer to the Specifications below for additional hole spacing data.
Monster Scooter Parts listens to you and we try to bring you just what you need at the lowest prices around. Either of our Universal seat assemblies for the Golden Buzzaround XL (GB116) and LiteRider PTC (GP162) is just the ticket to keep you mobile while staying inside your budget.
