Description

This is the genuine Golden Technologies RM622R right-side scissor mechanism, the heavy-duty recline mechanism used on Golden MaxiComfort lift chairs, along with the Cloud, Twilight, EZ Sleeper, and DeLuna lines. It connects the seat, arm assembly, and footboard, and it carries the chair through its independent back and footrest positions. A bent, cracked, or binding mechanism usually shows up as uneven or jerky reclining, or a footrest that won't fully open or close.

This listing is for the right side only (your right when seated in the chair). Golden recommends replacing both sides at the same time, so pair it with the RM622L left scissor mechanism.

Fitment note: This mechanism does not fit standard 3-position chairs, which use the RM621R, 2-position chairs (RM-8300), or the Comforter Wide Super 33 (PR502), which uses its own RM502 mechanism. Some earlier MaxiComfort chairs used the RM620 mechanism, so please compare your existing part and confirm your chair's model number before ordering.
