Description
This is the genuine Golden Technologies RM621R right-side scissor mechanism, the 3-way recline mechanism found on Golden 3-position lift chairs. It connects the seat, arm assembly, and footboard, and it controls how the backrest reclines and the footrest extends. A bent, cracked, or binding mechanism usually shows up as uneven or jerky reclining, or a footrest that won't fully open or close.
This listing is for the right side only (your right when seated in the chair). Golden recommends replacing both sides at the same time, so pair it with the RM621L left scissor mechanism.
Fitment note: This mechanism does not fit 2-position chairs such as the Capri (PR200), which use the RM-8300; MaxiComfort chairs, which use the RM622R; or the Comforter Wide Super 33 (PR502), which uses its own RM502 mechanism. Please confirm your chair's model number before ordering.
