This plate is the sandwich between the CarryOn seat cushion and the folding pedestal. The lock keeps the seat from twisting or lifting off the post while you ride; the hardware is the bits that hold that plate on.
If the seat wobbles, won’t latch, or the plate is bent from folding the GB120, replace this assembly. You keep the upholstered seat and the pedestal — this is only the plate + lock + hardware.
