Description
The Predator 224cc 6.6 HP go-kart and mini bike engine is an ideal all-purpose replacement go-kart, dune buggy, and mini bike engine. This fine engine uses a 3/4" diameter output shaft, a 0.90-gallon fuel tank, and heavy-duty recoil pull start.
Apart from the obvious motorsports applications, Predator engines are similar to those used on countless generators, pressure sprayers, pumps, roto-tillers and an almost endless list of portable utility and lawn & garden products. This makes the Predator 224cc perfect for your custom project. With Monster Scooter Parts' convenient inventory of spare and replacement engine parts, there is no longer any need for the home mini bike or go-kart builder to scrounge second-hand "junk engines" as was all too often the case in years past.
Note: As with any aftermarket replacement engine, this little powerhouse was designed to replace the factory-installed engines on a wide range of brands, models, and powersports types. Our 224cc engine may not be a direct bolt-on replacement without a few minor modifications or re-drilling the motor mounts so that everything lines up correctly, but rest assured it can be made to work with a just little DIY elbow grease. Perhaps a little extra work to install, but it sure beats having your go-kart sitting and rusting away by the side of the house.
In addition, the throttle mechanism on your old engine may need to be saved to be re-used and installed on this high-quality aftermarket replacement engine.
