Weatherproof vs Waterproof? - Weatherproof means it is resistant to harsh weather conditions such as UV rays from sun, precipitation, and wind. Waterproof means it is impervious to water but will break down when exposed to UV rays.

400-denier nylon fabric with a urethane backing, is ideal for daily protection from elements. Weatherproof means this is water resistant and not waterproof, so we recommend not allowing water to pool on cover.

Note: If you use these covers while hauling your folding power chair in the back bed of an open truck, then you will need to lash it down securely. A couple of bungee cords may do the trick, but tie-down straps are even better. The bottom edge has a series of 1" webbing belt loops for this. What you do not want is for the cover to go flapping and flopping around in the wind as this will cause a lot of unnecessary wear & tear on the fabric
