Description
Description
The 48 volt controller for the eWheels EW-36 scooter uses a style and technology closer to that of street-legal recreational scooters than that of more common mobility models. This is in keeping with eWheels' philosophy of blending mobility and sport into one happy whole.
The controller comes with all of the wires and connectors in place. Just indo your malfunctioning old controller and plug the connectors of the new one into their proper mates.
The controller is the "brain" of a scooter's electronics system; a miniature computer that directs the brakes, speed, acceleration rate, and other aspects of the scooter's functioning. Any scooter controller is susceptible to moisture-induced internal corrosion damage from excessive humidity, especially if stored unused for any long period. Additionally; a scooter controller can be damaged by electrical shorts resulting from incorrect battery connection. Although controllers are not the least expensive of scooter parts, they are often replaced as a unit rather than repaired.
