Description

This 24 volt battery box is the exact replacement for the original standard-capacity battery box on the EV Rider Transport mobility scooter. The Transport's battery box is removable, so you can quickly swap out a damaged or faulty box, or carry a second box as a backup for long rides.

Order the box empty, or with 12 Ah or 15 Ah Universal Power Group (UPG) AGM batteries pre-installed and pre-wired for plug-and-play use. The batteries are added fresh right before shipping, and they are spill-proof, maintenance-free and airline safe. The 15 Ah upgrade gives about 25% longer running time than 12 Ah batteries in the same size.

Note: This box is for AGM batteries only. It will not accept the optional lithium-ion batteries EV Rider offered, which have different dimensions.

If your battery box is still in good shape, you can replace just the batteries with the 24 Volt SLA Battery Pack for the EV Rider TranSport.

No brainer for me!

Getting this was a no brainer for me. There are no mobility stores in my vacinity where I could have new batteries installed. My only regret is that I didn't get the lithium batteries instead.
