Do you have an EV Rider TranSport folding scooter with sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries and need a replacement charger? Our premium quality 24 volt 2.0 amp XLR battery charger for the EV Rider TranSport is made by Universal Power Group (UPG).
Note: This charger that is only suitable for EV Rider scooters that use the 24 volt, 12 or 15 Ah Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries. It is NOT recommended for use on the TranSport scooters with the optional Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery.
This SLA-only charger features an automatic shut off when battery charging is complete. Your charging time may vary depending on the level of your batteries' depletion.
Short Circuit Protection - Prevents damage caused when operating in a short circuit condition for an indefinite period of time. The charger is "self-recovering" when the fault condition is removed.
Reverse Polarity Protection - Prevents damage when positive and negative polarities are connected in reverse.
Fully Automatic Operation - Safely charges and maintains a full charge. the final stage of charging is the float mode and the battery may remain connected indefinitely. In this mode, the charger maintains fully charged condition.
Designed to Prevent Over Charging - Automatically switches to Float Mode.
Complete 3-Stage Process - Bulk Charge, Absorption, Maintenance/Float.
Low Voltage Protection - When the battery voltage is below a preset value, the charger will not start charging.
LED Display
Lightweight - Switch mode chargers are much lighter than linear chargers.
LED lights indicate battery charge level as follows:
A. POWER LED (Clear Lens - Red Color):
Power On - LED On
No Power - LED Off
B. CHARGING/FAULTS LED - (Clear Lens - Red / Green Color):
Power OnNo Battery/Full Charge (20 Hrs) - Both LED's Off
Bulk /Absorption Charge - Red LED On - Green LED Off
Float Charge - Red LED Off - Green LED Blinking
Maintenance Charge - Red LED Off - Green LED On
