Description
Need a replacement PZ19 ATV & dirt bike carburetor for 4-stroke single cylinder air cooled gas engines? This Honda clone ATV carb has a 19mm diameter intake and a manual choke that is mounted on the right side. This style of 4-stroke dirt bike carb and ATV carb is also used on super pocket bikes, go-karts, and street scooters. Typically used on engine sizes 50cc through 90cc, including most Baja Motorsports products like the Dirt Runner dirt bike series, as well as models from Panters, TaoTao, and others.
The mounting hole spacing is 1-15/16" (48 mm) center to center with 3/16" (5 mm) through holes.
But that's not all! Monster Scooter Parts gives you a choice of configurations for this carb. You can order it either with or without a 35mm Air Filter. Just select your filter option and save some money.
Do I need a PZ19 carburetor or a PZ22 carburetor?
If you are bewildered by the carburetor choices you are not alone. The PZ19 and PZ22 carbs are very similar; both carburetors sharing the same external physical dimensions, including a 48 mm mounting hole spacing. The only real difference is in the diameter of the engine-side intake; the PZ19 uses a 19 mm opening while the PZ22's engine-side measures a nominal 22 mm. Both carburetors can be used on engines from 50cc up to 125cc.
So which is right for your machine? In general, the PZ19 is more common on 50cc, 70cc, and 90cc engines as these require a bit less power that their larger cousins. The PZ22 is a better choice if your engine is in the 110cc to 125cc class simply because it takes a larger dose of the gas/air mix to run the larger engine at peak performance. Although the PZ22 provides a bit more power, it comes at the cost of greater fuel consumption.
