Description

This 212cc 6.5 Hp gas engine is our recommended replacement for the factory-installed 196cc 6.5 Hp engine on Coleman KT196 and CK196 go-karts. It is a single-cylinder, air-cooled, EPA-certified "Honda-clone" engine, one of the most widely used engine designs in the go-kart world, and it also suits lightweight custom projects.

The engine comes with the manual pull start, air filter, carburetor, fuel tank, muffler, spark plug and a single-magnet flywheel. It has a 3/4" drive shaft. It does not include a charging coil.

Installation notes: Like any aftermarket replacement engine, it may not bolt straight on. Expect some minor modifications, such as re-drilling the motor mounts so everything lines up. You will also need to save the throttle mechanism from your old engine and install it on this one.
