In addition, these fenders are missing the common mounting hardware (those minor screws, nuts, and washers that you probably already have in an old coffee can in the back of your garage). If you don't mind scrounging the fasteners this Scratch & Dent set of bike fenders is an outstanding bargain.
In the not-too-distant past, most bikes were sold with fenders attached. Over the years these very useful items were gradually eliminated to become aftermarket add-ons.
