Description

This 24 volt rack mount battery pack is standard equipment on many Currie-made eZip and IZIP electric bikes that use the 24 volt, 10 Ah power system. It holds two 12 volt 10 Ah sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries in a black plastic plug and play case with a 40 amp AGC glass fuse.

The pack locks into the rack beside the rear wheel and lifts out for charging indoors, storage or theft protection. This newer version uses round button-style contact terminals (the brass discs on the bottom of the box); earlier Currie packs used blade-style terminals.

Replacing a lithium pack: Currie no longer offers the lithium-ion version of this pack. You can use this SLA pack in its place, but it must be charged with an SLA-rated charger. If you are replacing a lithium pack, order the With Charger option, which adds a Qili Power 24 volt 1.5 amp SLA (AGM) XLR charger. The charger is not compatible with lithium batteries.
