Description

This AlveyTech premium charger replaces the original 3-prong charger on 48 volt electric scooters that run on AGM (sealed lead acid) batteries, including the X-Treme X-500. Most of these scooters use four 12 volt batteries wired in series to make a 48 volt system.

The charger delivers up to 57.6 volts DC, the maximum charge voltage for a 48 volt AGM pack, at 2.0 amps (115.2 watts). It plugs in with a 3-prong connector, and a threaded metal collar locks it onto the charging port so it can't wiggle loose.

A status LED glows red while the battery charges and turns green when it's full. The AC cord detaches from the charger and uses a standard 2-prong wall plug, and the input works on 100–240 VAC. The power supply is UL listed and made for indoor use.

Make sure your scooter has a 48 volt AGM battery pack and a 3-prong charging port before you order. Do not use this charger on lithium batteries.

To get the most life out of your charger, store it somewhere dry and don't let it fall onto hard surfaces like concrete.
