10x4.50-5 PVC Plastic Tire Sleeve for Drift Trikes

This 10x4.50-5 hard PVC tire sleeve makes your drift trike's slick tires even slicker. It limits rear-tire traction for a faster, looser drift.

Coleman, MotoTec, Razor and Huffy use the 10x4.50-5 slick tire on their drift trikes, and it may be found on other brands and models as well.

Wear: Because drifting puts sideways forces on the wheels, these sleeves wear faster than a normal tire. The rougher the surface, the faster the wear.

Installation: The sleeve fits tightly. Let some air out of the tire, lubricate it with soapy water, and press the tire into the end of the sleeve with the chamfered lugs. A wood or rubber mallet helps. Then refill the tire to the correct pressure. Strips of self-adhesive grip tape on the sleeve's inner face can help it hold to the tire.
