This optional upgrade system is designed to replace the OEM rack mounted SLA batteries Currie used on some of their best selling electric bikes.

At 8 lbs., this battery pack is half the weight of an SLA system. This Currie battery pack offers more longevity, (500 plus charges), and even quicker recharging than was possible just a half-decade ago. If you have one of Currie's SLA-powered RMB e-bike models, then you may just want to consider this 21st century system upgrade.

Because you cannot use a standard SLA type battery charger with Lithium type batteries, Currie has paired this battery pack with its own special charger; the K2 Energy 24 volt, 3 amp Smart charger.
